You know how difficult it can be to break the ice, making that transition from getting along to getting it on. We were having a great time with another couple, Jules and Joe. We’ve known them for a few months and had many memorable evenings together (no sex, just great chat and some flirting). We were all attracted to one another, but because Jayme and I are more “experienced” than they are, we were always nervous about being “pushy.” We’ve read “no pushy people” on enough profiles to get the hint. If we push anything, it's not being pushy. At any rate, the evening was going wonderfully, but it hadn’t progressed to that next level. Everyone wanted it to, but no one was quite sure how. Sexy talk, porn on TV—it was all good, but still no one was naked. OK, we did have our shoes off. Then Jules mentioned that they had some glow-in-the-dark body paints they had never used before. “Bring them out,” we all said. They also had a big black light to make the colors glow. Jules hooked up the black light, dimmed the other lights, whipped out the paints, and began painting Jayme's hand. When the first thing that was painted was a hand, I wondered if even that would get things going, but someone (maybe me) upped the ante and offered to paint Jayme's breast. . Jayme didn’t seem opposed to the idea. “Sure, I can lay down and take my top off,” she said. The painting began. Jules took brush in hand and immediately took to the new canvas. She painted little faces around her breasts, and coated the nipples with an extra layer. Joe began painting stripes on her belly. It was exciting to see those first touches. The painting gave them permission to get close and personal. Somehow, her pants came off, too. I probably had something to do with that as well. Joe painted a nice arrow pointing toward the area I hoped to visit soon. The new directional advice would be helpful. It was now Jules’ turn. Isn’t it nice how the ladies get to go first? She stripped down and became the next canvas. As Joe and I slopped on our lame attempts at art, Jayme began painting intricate designs on her from toe, up to head. It was very erotic. It also feels good--which the two women mentioned and I soon learned when it became the guys' turn. Very soft, a little cold, a nice sort of tickle. When Jayme was painting Joe, I watched her arm "accidentally" rub back and forth on his bulge (still wearing pants) while she painted his stomach. At one point, the two women exchanged paint by rubbing in onto each other. See, an ice breaker. One of the best parts was looking at the designs in the mirror. The black light was behind us and the whole designs were visible in the mirrors in front of us. We immediately wanted to throw a painting party, where everyone could walk around in these shiny "clothes." Other than some glowing marks left on the carpet by the paint, a good time was had by all (and we are told those came right up). The personal clean up was fun too. Four people in a tub full of fluorescent water. One other bonus to the whole glow-in-the-dark painting situation: people look great in the black light. Both Jayme and I were feeling a little conscientious about getting naked in front of the younger couple—especially after a holiday season during which we subsisted on cookies and beef jerky. The black light took that fear away. Other than the strange glow of teeth and the cat-like quality it gives eyes, it was magical. Everything is so smooth and inviting in the flattering light. We have since found some cool paints for ourselves. You can get the paints we used here:
You can use your fingers, but we suggest a brush, both for artistic abilities and sensual feel. While we were looking for paints, we also found a whole bunch of other adult toys that glow in the dark. These could be nice additions to that glow-in-the-dark party we're planning. There are game dice, toys, cuffs--you name it. You can find a bunch of those here: glow in the dark.
If you like the idea of painting, but aren't excited by the glow aspect, a variety of paints (chocolate, flavored, regular) can be found here: paint.
While you're at it, maybe this movie will prime the pump:
If you try it, or you've done it a million times before, let us know what you thought. We could always use some tips to get the most out of our new-found pleasure.
